As of 2023, the average size of a single-family home in the United States is just over 2100 square feet. The United Kingdom: about 820 square feet. Move over to Hong Kong and that number drops significantly to about 480 square feet. It seems as the world gets bigger, space gets smaller, but that’s certainly not the case for everyone.
