In the KAzakh Steppe you can find Baikonur. The worlds first and largest space launch facility. It’s on an active russan military base but some of the buildings are abandoned. These guys went to visit the abandoned space shuttles from the buran project that are hidden inside an hangar. The project dates back from the space race and was the largest and most expensive in the history of Soviet space exploration.
