A terrifying scene in Tampa Friday after a pole crashed through a semi truck’s windshield on I-275.

“A 33-year-old semi-truck driver is doing “okay” after two concrete poles he was carrying on his trailer broke loose and came through his back window and into his front window Friday morning”, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. There is no word yet on whether there were injuries or when lanes will reopen. The events leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
