Abandoned 49 Floor Bangkok Ghost Tower That's Weird! The infamous Ghost Tower (Sathorn Unique Tower)! This tower is the 4th tallest abandoned building in the world and it was a planned 49 floor (185 meter) 600 unit luxury condominium project that ended in 1997 during the Asian financial crisis. Stunning Grand Forgotten 235 year old Mansion Down South * Incredible Staircase & Woodwork That's Weird! Built in the late 1700’s with a massive update in the late 1800’s circa 1897. Lots of interesting history too go with this place unfortunately not trying be too specific too prevent vandalism. It was once home too a very wealthy tobacco baron. Which is where the wealth came from for the massive Victorian, Italianate update. Originally just a small 4 bedroom brick farm house. Also it sits close by too a few historic civil war battle sites but couldn’t find any history on that besides there had been a brick farm house on the property since the late 1780’s. Unfortunately most of the outbuildings have been torn down so glad I was atleast able too fully film this incredible old

Today we’re taking a look into an abandoned town of 150 houses with nearly everything left behind. In 2017 the city had everyone vacate their units because of a defective drainage and plumbing problem that caused very unclean conditions for the residents. Not only was it bad living conditions but there had been many reports of shootings in the area that made the city want to try something new. In 2018 a development company purchased all of the homes with a plan of creating something very similar but more updated. Those plans never came to life.
